Gary Gimmler Returns To Winners Circle

The Checkered Flag Sprint Series (CFSS) returned to Charlotte County Motorsports Park on Saturday June 13, 2009 with 14 cars to run two heat races and a 30 lap feature race.

David Slawiak Breaks Butler's Streak

The Checkered Flag Sprint Series (CFSS) made their first stop of the 2009 season at New Smyrna Speedway on Saturday June 6, 2009. Despite the rainy forecast, 14 cars came to the track to run two heat races and a 30 lap feature race.

Keith Butler Makes it Five in a Row

The Checkered Flag Sprint Series (CFSS) returned to Charlotte County Motorsports Park on Saturday May 2, 2009 with 17 cars to run two heat races and a 30 lap feature race.

Geoff Styner in the 15JR had the pole for the start of the first heat race with Stan Butler in the 5W car on the outside. The 4th of July race went off with a ‘big bang’ thanks in part to fire works provided by the McDole/Slawiak team. Our biggest car count of the year was on hand to entertain the crowd.

The 35 lap feature, sponsored by J. B. Banta Enterprises, was a hard fought battle for positions one through eighteen, putting on a great show for the fans.
