Sprint Cars Roar At Charlotte Saturday Night
|
The Checkered Flag Sprint Series return to Charlotte County Speedway on September the 20th. David Slawiak is on top of the points standings at this time.
With only four more race event scheduled for the 2008 season the CFSS point race is really heating up, with only 89 points separation first thru sixth place. Some of the other driver expected to also race Keith Butler, Gary Gimmler, Scott Adema, Mark Gimmler, Brian Riddle, Datotah Stephens, Shawn Namor, Darrin Miller, Ryan Partin, Stephen Sinwald, Amanda Ferguson and Geoff Styner.
Also on the program with the CFSS sprint car will be a 35 lap Open Wheel Modified race, the Sportsmans will run 35 lap feature and the Outlaw Street Stocks will be running a 50 lap feature.
Hot laps at 3 pm, Front Gate open at 4pm with racing starting at 6pm.

The 4th of July race went off with a ‘big bang’ thanks in part to fire works provided by the McDole/Slawiak team. Our biggest car count of the year was on hand to entertain the crowd.
The 35 lap feature, sponsored by J. B. Banta Enterprises, was a hard fought battle for positions one through eighteen, putting on a great show for the fans.
Keith Butler was the winner and recipient of the $500.00 Barfield Clean Sweep award for winning the heat and feature events. David Slawiak ...
