Tight Points Race As Sprints Ready For Charlotte County

The Checkered Flag Sprint Series 2008 Championship race is far from over with three races left on the schedule. David Slawiak is leading with a mere eleven points over 2nd place Keith Butler.
In 3rd place is Gary Gimmler sitting five points behind Butler and only sixteen points behind Slawiak. In 4th place, fifteen points behind Gimmler is Scott Adema. Mark Gimmler is in 5th place and he only need eighteen points to catch Adema.

 The Checkered Flag Sprint Series (CFSS) returned to Charlotte County Motorsports Park on Saturday September 20. A car count of 18 set them up for 3 heat races and a 30 lap feature.

Mark Gimmler Celebrates Return To Citrus

 The Checkered Flag Sprint Series (CFSS) made its first appearance of the year at Citrus County Speedway in Inverness on Saturday August 16, with a 35 lap feature race. This was the first race outside of Charlotte County Motorsports Park for the series and 16 cars made the trip to be in the race.
